Services

I offer 50 minute sessions on a weekly or biweekly basis. I provide counseling to children (ages 4+), adolescents, and adults. I offer evidence-based treatment plans that are specialized and unique to the needs of each client. My Christian faith influences how I view the world and how we experience suffering. I am committed to honoring my client's beliefs and worldview, so my practice is a safe space for all clients regardless of ethnicity, gender, sex, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic status or disability.

Some of the issues I treat include:

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Anxiety

  • Attachment issues

  • Parenting support

  • Unwanted behavior

  • Depression

  • Spiritual issues

  • Abuse

  • Grief and loss

  • Family of origin issues

  • Life transitions

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is an evidence-based treatment used to address painful traumatic memories and the resulting negative beliefs. I work with clients to reprocess single incident or complex trauma and to activate and reinforce new connections between the traumatic memory and more adaptive memories and information.

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling is a collaborative, relational process between the client and clinician. Using a client-centered approach, I incorporate  talk-based and experiential modalities such as Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Expressive Art techniques to work towards your stated therapeutic goals. I believe all progress is worth celebrating in a warm and understanding environment.

Play Therapy

Play therapy is a developmentally appropriate and effective modality for child clients. Play therapy uses the child's natural language of play to address psychological issues and cultivate healing and growth. I partner with parents to provide support to the family system and specialize in utilizing EMDR alongside play therapy for traumatized children.

Honest Art Workshops

Honest Art Workshops are one-time, guided, therapeutic art groups that allow you to process your experiences through mixed-media art in a warm and safe environment.

Enter into the process of exploring and expressing your feelings, thoughts, hopes, and fears through art alongside a licensed clinical mental health counselor and a group of other individuals walking through similar struggles. Previous creative experience is not required. Register here.

Sometimes difficult experiences negatively alter the way we view the world and ourselves, resulting in interpersonal conflict, heightened anxiety, diminished self-concept, or negative core beliefs.  When our hardest stories and experiences are processed within the safety of the therapeutic relationship, new adaptive ways of being and thinking can emerge. I am dedicated to meeting a client's openness and commitment with kindness, warmth, and empathy because I believe this is where healing happens.

With child and adolescent clients, I believe that therapy should be developmentally appropriate in order to create a safe and effective environment for growth. I delight in working with young clients to process big feelings and scary experiences so that they are able to grow into well-adjusted adults.
